AG to host ‘Knock the Vote’ rally Saturday

NEWBURYPORT — Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey will host a “Knock the Vote” rally Saturday at 10 a.m. at 24R Pleasant St.

The event is one of 14 Healey will be hosting in communities around the state this weekend to encourage residents to vote in the Tuesday, Nov. 6. midterm election.

Healey is also in town to endorse Jennifer Rocco-Runnion, Democratic candidate for state representative for the 1st Essex District communities of Amesbury, Newburyport, and Salisbury. Rocco-Runnion is running against incumbent Rep. James Kelcourse, R-Amesbury, who is seeking his third term.
